The Ethan Awards
The Ethan Awards is an award ceremony that celebrates the entrepreneurial efforts of authors. They needed a website that promoted the main event in Las Vegas for this years ceremonies, but also wanted a way to get the nominated authors’ fans involved. The result was an interactive website where fans could nominate and vote for their favorite author, as well as get information about the concluding ceremony. As I am writing this post, the website has received over 50,000 votes, an amount far beyond what the The Ethan Awards staff anticipated. The traffic to the site was largely driven by motivated authors eager to win the prestigious award.
The Ethan Award brand also needed some updating, something that sparkled and oozed of a dynamic live event that had history behind it. Drawing a little from other famous award ceremonies, we landed on a brand that prominently featured the awards statue itself, which gave it a simple focal point and quick recognition. The clients were thrilled with the outcome.
